Boutique Mental Health Care & Concierge Therapy

A More Personalized Approach to Therapy

Private-pay therapy — also known as boutique therapy or concierge therapy — is a model of mental health care in contrast to insurance panel providers or large online platforms. Concierge therapy is individualized and deeply attuned, rather than fitting clients into a standardized treatment model.

This is an intentionally small private practice. I'm able to offer therapy that is customized and responsive to your unique needs rather than rushed or formulaic. I work with a limited number of clients at a time so that therapy can be consistent, and I am fully present. This allows for a level of depth and continuity that isn't guaranteed in high-volume therapy settings.

How Concierge Therapy Differs From Large Online Platforms

Many large therapy platforms require therapists to carry very high caseloads and move quickly from client to client. While these services may be convenient and low-cost, the therapy itself can feel impersonal, rushed, or disconnected — often limited to surface-level coping strategies. I've heard stories of platforms abruptly assigning a different therapist without warning or a chance to say goodbye. I've heard of therapists falling asleep in session.

Concierge and boutique therapy prioritize quality over quantity. Because I am fully focused on my clients, I’m able to hold a more complete understanding of your history, track patterns over time, and bring greater presence and clinical attention into each session.

Clients often describe this difference as finally feeling seen, remembered, and worked with as a whole person — not managed by a system.

Protect Your Privacy

Concierge therapy is private pay, meaning insurance companies do not dictate how often we meet, how long sessions last, or what diagnosis must be assigned. This allows therapy to be guided by your actual needs rather than external requirements.

Did you know that insurance companies require a diagnosis in order to authorize treatment? They also have access to your therapeutic records. Bypass getting a label that will follow you and avoid sharing your private records with your health insurance. This keeps our work especially private and confidential.

Sessions are tailored to what is most useful in the moment—whether that’s trauma processing, insight-oriented work, practical problem-solving, or simply having a steady, attuned presence during a difficult time.

Direct Communication

When you reach out, you communicate directly with me — not a receptionist, call center, or rotating provider. Secure phone, text, or email communication may be used between sessions when clinically appropriate. The goal is consistent, attuned care — not rushed or transactional interactions.

More Presence, Better Care

Because I see fewer clients, I’m able to spend time outside of sessions reflecting on your work, integrating clinical insights, and staying current with the field. This depth of attention directly supports higher-quality therapy.

Unlike providers with large case loads, I can take the extra time to collaborate with your other care providers, if you so desire. You get the peace of mind that your team is all on the same page.

This practice is designed to be sustainable—for both client and therapist—so the work remains grounded, engaged, and effective over time.

Who Concierge Therapy Is Best For

Concierge and boutique therapy are often a strong fit for individuals who:

  • Have felt rushed or unseen in traditional therapy
  • Want deeper, more individualized psychological care
  • Are working with complex trauma, attachment issues, or long-standing patterns
  • Value privacy, discretion, and continuity
  • Prefer working with a therapist who is not overextended or burned out

Therapy Designed for Depth, Not Volume

Concierge therapy is not designed to scale. It is designed to offer care that is careful, responsive, and meaningful. If you are seeking therapy that prioritizes depth, customization, and clinical integrity, this model may be the right fit.
